Jakhu Hill 08:01
The Bhompu blares. Naeku, in his drunken stupor is woken up by the unearthly calls of the frolicking near-midgets, who are his very dear friends actually - Donga, Laedda, Romba, Cookka, and Bounu (who, being the only not-so-near midget is the leader of this pack). Naeku, with a Bidi resting neatly against his mighty Mooch, is pulled out of his comfy nap bestowed unto him by his favourite beverage - the Una Number 1. He is not particularly fond of being awoken in such a crass fashion by these delinquents while napping in the midst of his favourite Jakhu forest, but he half-remembers his religious duty to sneak a Spoony from Trishool Bakers in order to testify his guts to them - a silly bet indeed! For this he must wake, and the awakening is upon him…
2.
Oh, but in a familiar town, it seems they are as lost as those pesky tourists and find themselves in the murky forests of Prospect Hill, which is opposite to that of Jakhu! The purpose of their Gedi dawns upon Romba and he reminds the pack that they have actually crossed their destination and must now go back whence they came! "Aara, Tirshoola ta tappi gere!" He blares. "O aara tua o dangrua, paele ki ni dasseya!" Naeku remarks. They embark to Trishool, yet again…
3.
The all-powerful presence of the local Deity, Kamna Devi, promised them an unmitigating safety for the next stretch of their perilous odyssey to snatch a Spoony, but it seems their path is populated by many-a-Monkey (both metaphorical and literal!) which not even Kamna Devi could mitigate this time. Fear has now gripped them, since no one has ever had a flowery encounter with these rabid Monkeys. Now, with the able assistance of each other, they must devise a nifty escape tactic…
4.
Bantony Hill 03:43
The more than competent Baunu was able to get past the treacherous monkey-laden tracts of Chaura Maidan by recognising the virtue of patience in the face of a Monkey exodus to Kachighati. Simply put, they waited it out. Now that they have made their way to the coveted Mall Road, their stomachs do not share their patience. Their eyes gleam with hope and desire for the promised Spoony. But lo! The Thullas are in sight… Not a friendly sight. Will this deter Naeku's promise? Or will he be able to prove his mettle?
5.
"The Spoony is ours!!!" "O aara, Thulle ta lagi re aunde macho!" "Nautha aara!" Run they must, for the Thullas have spotted Naeku smuggling a Spoony and are upon them!
6.
Summer Hill 02:21
The chase is on! The pack is mercilessly chased by the enraged Thullas - for it so happened that it was the last Spoony remaining, and everyone knows how coveted those severely limited items of wonderment are! One can only imagine how angry those half-a-dozen Thullas must be. The pack is scattered, and in their frenzy run to wherever they can, Bounu, being the tallest, takes charge and lets his big strides guide him to where they will- to Middle Bazaar he flees. Laedda, Cookka and Donga make their way to the Tibetan Market, for there are many silent nooks and corners there where they can easily hide themselves. Romba, being somewhat plumply, would have been left behind but for the generosity, and to be honest, surprising strength of Naeku, for it seems that his dear Una Number 1 has fortified him a-plenty, so much so that he easily lifts Romba on his shoulders as he runs! It is to Summer Hill that these two are headed…
7.
Inveram Hill 04:17
The Thullas now all gotten rid of, the gang rendezvouses back at the Chaura Maidan to celebrate Naeku's victory! Even in the hectic run and chase, given his drunken state, he held onto the Spoony that he had 'borrowed' so he could share it with his friends. For this is friendship, isn't it? (Romba, however, takes a considerably larger bite that makes all a bit queasy. Dear, sweet Romba!) Anyway, it is nearly dawn now, and Naeku can overhear the Thullas nearby practicing their drums and going "hey-ho! hey-ho! oooh" and "dum, dum-dum tisss!" "Bolo gaona ri bolo pinkiye Mere dilduo luuuteeee Oobeyyyy" adds Cookka. It must be 5 in the morning now - so early, and so cold! A mist of tranquility weaves its sleepy magic on Naeku's weary mind, and he bids farewell to his near and dear friends. For he must now turn homeward to fulfill his slumber. And oh, the Una Number 1 bottle is also nearly finished - never a good sign! He must restock!
8.
Elysium Hill 08:13
Homeward bound, he stealthily makes his way past all the Thulla checkpoints - confound these balding good-for-nothings! Now he is at Longwood and safe, and the Sun has finally made an appearance. Going downhill through Kelston toward his home Bharari, he recalls all the adventures of the past night. Was that all a dream? He takes out the bottle of his favourite drink in the whole wide world, the very potent Una Number 1. Retiring from a night of abundant liquor and frolicking, he takes one last swig and wipes his mouth, smiling all the while, in all the splendor of the five crooked teeth his mouth reveals. Who cares! He is nearly home now. Oh, and sleep is calling him. Blessed, most wonderful sleep! "O aara, sayi jaein mada jya ebe ta…"

...

Shimla is the capital town of the Western Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh. It was formerly the summer capital during British Rule. The town is built across several hills and connecting ridges. The seven main hills are Jakhu Hill, Prospect Hill, Observatory Hill, Elysium Hill, Summer Hill, Bantony Hill and Inveram Hill.
The name Shimla, according to one source, was derived from ‘Shyamalaya’ meaning "blue house" which is said to be the name of a shelter built of blue slate by a faqir on Jakhu. According to another version, Shimla takes its name from "Shamla Devi", who is a local Deity.
Shimla remained unnoticed during the Gurkha War. It was only in 1819 A.D. that the then Assistant Political Agent of hill states, Lt. Ross set up the first British residence there, a makeshift wooden cottage. His successor, Lt. Charles Pat Kennedy erected the first pucca house in 1822 which was named 'Kennedy House' after him.

In 1864, Shimla was declared the Summer Capital of India. In 1903, a rail line was constructed between Kalka and Shimla.
After Independence, Shimla became the capital of Punjab and subsequently became the capital of Himachal Pradesh, after the state was formed in 1971.

Shimla has been blessed with all the natural bounties one can think of. Situated on a panoramic location, the mountainous town is surrounded by green pastures and snow-capped peaks. The spectacular cool hills accompanied by the structures made during the colonial era create a special enchanting aura, which stands distinct from other hill stations. Bulging at its seams with unprecedented expansion, Shimla retains its colonial heritage, with grand old buildings, among which is the glorious Viceregal Lodge. The Mall, packed with shops and eateries, is the centre of attraction of the town. Scandal Point, associated with the former Maharaja of Patiala’s escapades, offers a view of distant snow-clad peaks.

"Land of the Seven Hills" is a humble ode to the quaint life of Shimla, and we see it through the eyes of our drunken protagonist, Naeku, who gets into trouble because of a silly bet made to his friends, all the while being drunk on his favourite drink, the magical and very potent Una Number 1.
